Guacamole can be cheap - when you shop the right places. We have a Sprouts and a Sunflower Farmers Market - neither of which are actual farmers markets, just good grocery stores to go to - they are normally much cheaper than regular stores. I got these avacados for $0.25 a pop. We bought 20 :) And we won't eat avacados again until we find them for around the normal 33-5o c each that normally comes later in the year.
Easy Guacamole
2 avacados
1 shake premade salsa - 1/4 cup or so
squeeze lemon juice - 1/2 tsp or so
shake salt
whatever fresh veggies you have - tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, cilantro, whatever. You don't have to add any - I like to add a jalapeno (my salsa is mild) and cilantro. Easy.
mix by hand to save dishes - Or run in the food processor if you don't care.
